Help us to shape how new funding could provide digital and AI support for your business.

Are you a c​hemistry or materials business in the North West?

We need your help to complete a short 10-minute survey assessing the AI, digital technology and automation needs of chemistry and materials businesses of all sizes in the Mersey Basin region (Liverpool, Cheshire, Warrington and Greater Manchester). We’re doing this to inform a strong evidence-based business case bidding for new £25m investment made available by the UK Government Strength in Places Fund.

The survey will also influence how this potential investment in the industry application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital technology and automation could best be used to support the region’s chemistry and materials industry, facilitating business growth and​ high value jobs. This is your opportunity to help shape how this funding should, if successful, be invested in the North West.​​

The bid will be led by the Science and Technology Facilities Council’s Hartree Centre and regional partners, including the University of Liverpool and the Henry Royce Institute. Survey closes 9 July 2019.​​
