In the first of its kind Birds of a Feather session at ISC26, we’re bringing together researchers, industry professionals and communications experts to tackle a shared challenge: making a compelling case for HPC facilities and technologies to decision-makers across organisational boundaries and disciplines.
This collaborative session will equip participants with practical tools, techniques and insights for effective science communication whilst fostering connections that strengthen relationships with funding bodies and industrial partners.
Whether you’re seeking government funding, building industry partnerships or trying to demonstrate the real-world impact of supercomputing, this session will give you practical tools and strategies to communicate your work with confidence and clarity.
Through interactive discussions, we’ll troubleshoot common communication challenges and showcase examples of high-quality communication activities that resonate with key decision-makers. This is an ideal opportunity to network with like-minded research and industry professionals at all stages of their careers who are passionate about effectively disseminating HPC research and its societal impact.
What to expect
Through presentations, case studies and interactive discussion, we’ll explore what good communications looks like across the HPC community. Each speaker will cover a focused topic, including:
- Communicating large EU-funded projects
- Launching new HPC facilities
- Industry insight
- Emerging technologies
Whether you’re a seasoned researcher, an early-career scientist or an industry professional, you’ll gain valuable perspectives on strategic communications that foster partnerships and drive HPC adoption.
