Summary:​ Heard the hype and want to know more? In this practical workshop we’ll explore how businesses can use their data to gain valuable insight, enabling better decision making and improving business processes.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a powerful tool but to use these methods to full potential, businesses need good quality data. This practical workshop will cover open data, data protection, cleaning data and removing errors and how bias in data sets affects AI applications. Experienced data scientists from the Hartree Centre will be on hand to explore some of the steps required to collect and prepare your data for AI applications and answer all your pressing questions.​

*This workshop has been funded by ERDF and whilst it is offered free of charge to participating SMEs the value of this support is provided under Article 28.4 of the State Aid General Block Exemption Regulation (GBER). The value of this provision is £500 and this amount will count as part of the company's GBER Article 28.4 state aid entitlement and should be cumulated with other GBER Article 28.4 aid received by your company/organisation up to a total allowance of €200,000 from the Member State within which it does business and which provides the aid over any period of 3 fiscal years.
