We’ve been nominated for a HPCwire Readers’ Choice Award in the category for “Best HPC Collaboration Between Government & Industry”

The nomination highlights our work helping businesses and other organisations to access and exploit the IBM Watson platform and its various cognitive computing capabilities. The cognitive hospital we are creating in collaboration with with Alder Hey Children’s Hospital is a great example of such a project.

You need to be a subscriber to vote, and you can’t vote for your own organisation – so if you’re currently working for STFC, unfortunately you need to cast your votes elsewhere – but if you're not, we need your support!

There are also lots of other worthy UK computational science projects, facilities and influencers to vote for, so make sure you check those out too, including STFC’s own JASMIN, based at the STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory and nominated for “Best Data-Intensive System (End User Focused)”.

You can become a HPCwire subscriber and cast your vote here! Good luck to all the other nominees, we can’t wait to see the results.
