Since we opened our doors, our focus has been on accelerating the
adoption of HPC and data science technologies within the UK. The key to
our success so far has been the creation of close partnerships, both
with industrial and academic organisations.
Our aim now is to build a national hub supporting the applied use
of these tools and technologies, building close relationships with
committed partners, sharing our resources and know-how, and transforming
Our existing partners already provide some exciting
opportunities, whether it is IBM, who have established their own IBM
Research team alongside us at Daresbury, the Alan Turing Institute, who
will over time be a powerhouse for UK research, or universities like the
University of Liverpool who have sited their Virtual Engineering Centre
within the Hartree Centre.
In order to fully support the huge demand we foresee, and provide
maximum impact for the UK, we need and want to forge new relationships
with both national and regional organisations. We will soon be seeking
partners that share our vision to provide real world transformative
research to UK industry. We are keen to work with universities, research
institutes and SMEs who feel they could benefit from sharing the
resources, IP and experience of Hartree and our existing partners.
We will be holding a number of open events for potential partners
and clients to showcase our technology and ambitions during 2016.
Details about these will be released soon and we hope that you will be
able to join us.
